Austrian symbol for environmental protection for tourism enterprises!

The symbol for environmental protection tourism is an environmental program, for the Viennese of guest trade and tourism enterprises.

All enterprises, which lead this quality seal, are cared for by 5 professional environmental advisors. The quality seal is supported together by the Federal Ministry for environment, youth and family and by the Federal Ministry for economic affairs.

 Measures are set mainly within the ranges waste, waste water, efficient energy employment, pollution free purchase and ecological cleaning. The measure catalog was prepared by the Austrian association for consumer information (VKI) and must be kept by the enterprises.

Only after exact control, the symbol for environmental protection tourism will be assigned to an enterprise.

The restaurant Kardos received the symbol for environmental protection tourism in July 2003.
